Bio
Susan Nichter is a Painter and Professor at Suffolk University, Art & Design and in the Creativity and Innovation Department. She was awarded a Fulbright to Italy, was a Mac Dowell Colony Resident, received two Mass Cultural Council LCC Grants and was a former St. Botolph Fellow. She exhibits nationally and internationally. Susan taught a study abroad program in Prague 2010 and 2012, and Co lead Global Business Travel Seminar in Rome and Milan in 2016 with Jodi Detjen. She teaches a Landscape Painting class on Martha’s Vineyard in the summer.
Susan received a MFA and BFA from Boston University, with a year in between at Columbia University were she studied Choreography. In her early 20’s Susan was a dancer in NYC where she performed at Carnegie Hall. Susan invites you to visit www.susannichter.com to see images of her work.
